The ESCM is happy to announce that applications are open for the 2024 and 2025 editions of the ESCM Best PhD Thesis Award!
Dates
- Applications for both editions should reach us by 31 January 2026 (23:59 CEST).
- The outcome will be communicated to the candidates by 30 April 2026.
- The awards will be delivered during the 22nd European Conference on Composite Materials (ECCM22), to be held in Oslo (Norway), from 21-25 June 2026.
Eligibility
- PhD graduates who officially defended a thesis in 2024 for the 2024 edition or 2025 for the 2025 edition.
- The research must be related to composite materials and have been conducted within an institution located in Europe.
- A nomination from the PhD supervisor is required, and a supervisor may nominate only one candidate per edition.
